Every year, we experience extreme drought and floods across India. This is because we, as inhabitants of this glorious land, have fallen short of taking care of our rivers, the lifelines of India. Ram Nadi, a 19.20 km long river in Maharashtra, has met the same fate as many other rivers and their tributaries. It has been bunded and fragmented due to human intervention. With a clear focus to restore the Ram Nadi to its ever-flowing glory, Kirloskar Vasundhara and 12 esteemed organisations have come together and created the Ram Nadi Restoration Mission.
Environmental sensitivity is what binds this group of collegians together. With an aim to organise action-oriented programmes throughout the year, the Kirloskar Vasundhara Eco Rangers build awareness on issues related to environment, wildlife, energy, air and water. A platform will be crafted by the eco-sensitive generation for those who wish to contribute positively towards a greener tomorrow.

To foster that vision, ‘Green College, Clean College’ is a participatory movement that will help transform college campuses to use natural resources with maximum efficiency, while generating minimal waste of any type.
