The ‘Youth for Integration’ initiative was started with the objective of creating awareness among students and the youth at large on environmental protection and other related issues. Mr Bibhuti Debbarma, the president of the Youth for Integration has organized seminars on water conservation and rain water harvesting, trekking and other adventure programs. Volunteers have participated in the special seminar in Delhi where they presented a deliberation on different ways and means of protecting the environmental especially in India’s North Eastern States. Their youth volunteers also participated in the National Consultation to ‘Save Rivers and the Environment’ which was organised in Bhubaneswar, Odisha with the aim to protect the Mahanadi river.
