He is active in the fields of education, environment and spread of scientific temper since 1982 through ‘Vigyan Prabhodini’. He initiated prevention of idol immersion in water bodies in 1988 which is socially accepted all over Maharashtra, mentioned by the Honorable PM in his Mann Ki Bat. He successfully completed Study of Krishna River Basin under the guidelines by CPCB. He is currently member of committee appointed by Mumbai High Court for prevention of pollution of Panchaganga, Jalnayak on the committee for State Water literacy, member of Biodiversity board, Heritage Committee. He has successfully implemented ‘No Dolby’ in Ganeshotsav 2017.
