The Habitats Trust is an environmental organisation based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh founded by Roshni Nadar Malhotra and Shikhar Malhotra in 2018. The organization aims to create and conserve sustainable ecosystems through strategic partnerships and collaborations with all stakeholders at every level. The Trust focuses primarily on conserving lesser-known species that are threatened but often neglected. The Ecological Restoration Programme of the organization identifies and restores ecosystems degraded by human activities. Through The Conservation Behavioural Science (CBS) programme, the organization works toward the conservation of intact ecosystems and the well-being of the people dependent on them. The organization produces many short films that highlight the conservation efforts of other organizations and individuals. The organization has been awarded the 68th National Film Award for the impactful films and documentaries that showcase India’s rich diversity.
