Srushti Paryavaran Mandal, Nagpur is a non profit, non Govt. organisation (NGO) established in 2005 with the objective of working towards the cause of nature conservation. The projects range from wildlife protection, water conservation, reforestation, plantation, wildlife resque, prevention of forest land diversion etc. Since 2005 Srushti is working in association with Pench Tiger Reserve. It i was instrumental in setting up a platform called ‘Ekjoot’ which successfully lobbied against a proposed coal mining project near Tadoba Andhari Tiger reserve. After a tough resistance of over 16 months the proposal was scrapped.
