A headmaster in Central school in Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Sharada Prasad Mishra has been writing for various TV stations (Delhi, Patna, Bhopal and Indore) for the last 25-30 years. On the radio, he speaks about Science, Botany, Animal world and the Environment. He is particularly interested in gardening and tree plantation and plants thousands of saplings in and around Dewas and Ujjain every year. He has written about 190 mammals in a book called ‘Glory of the Animal World’, published by the Biodiversity Board of Madhya Pradesh. He intends to write about birds and other species in the forthcoming issues. Mr. Mishra is an Honorary Member of the district’s Eco-club, Honorary Secretary of Wildlife Protection Club and also manages a majority of work with regard to running the 40-odd eco-clubs in Mahu.
