`Warrior of Godavari’, Rajesh Pandit has taken the legal route for his consistent efforts towards pollution-free Godavari, and has been instrumental in providing police protection to a river in India. He established `Godavari Gatari Karan Virodhi Manch’ (Godavari anti drainage platform) for Godavari cleaning and preservation. Advocating the river issue in front of various government agencies, he is working with the local government for ensuing `Green Kumbh Mela’.
