Being an engineer he started working in RTO. After listening to a lecture by water expert Dr. Rajendrasinh, he got impressed and went to Rajasthan to witness the work done by him. That was the point where he started the work in water conservation movement. He was a major person who revived Agrani river in Sangli district. He is a true eco warrior, who strived hard in rejuvenating dry rivers, reducing use of water and reuse of water in industrial zone and connecting people.
