Laura Marshall

(Joint Founder, Managing Director and Executive Producer of Icon Films)

After leaving school, Laura spent a year in Paris working for Henri and Martine Cartier-Bresson. On return, she spent time working for the Toby Eady Literary Agency and the Author & Scientist, Iain Douglas Hamilton. In 1986, she started her first job in television working for Roger Graef (Films of Record), to develop film and television projects at Limehouse Studios. After 2 years, she moved to Cumbria and worked with her husband, Harry Marshall at his company, John Peel. In 1990, Harry and Laura moved to Bristol and together founded Icon Films.
