Jayanthnath B R is from Bikkanahalli village, Koppal district of Karnataka. He is a civil engineer. In 1998, he quit his lucrative engineering job in Malaysia and came to India and served in Gandhi Seva Ashram, Wardha and Ramakrishna Mission in Brindavan. Now he performs organic farming and harvesting, enough to support his living in the village. He has set up a model to help one live a simple life in the era of consumerism.
