Gardens Club, Kolhapur is established in 1969 to provide a dais to garden & nature lovers to exchange the ideas about gardening, urban biodiversity conservation & Climate change mitigation.

Gardens Club, Kolhapur is engaged in Networking, Capacity building, Research & Training, Consulting, awareness programs, conducting flower shows & garden competitions, botanical fashion shows, Eco-friendly Ganesh decoration, landscape designing, agro based entrepreneurships, tree census, urban forestry, garden development with specific themes in various sectors like residential, industrial, Municipal Corporation, educational institutions, University, etc.

Gardens Club has been conducting workshops for University, RAMETI, Municipal Corporation, Social Clubs, Schools, Colleges, Self Help Groups in various gardening skills like bonsai technique, miniature gardening skills, waste managements & kitchen gardening, organic fertilizers & pesticide development, urban biodiversity conservation through sustainable development.

Gardens Club, Kolhapur has participated in various TV shows, national & International Bonsai Conventions & awarded with Chh. Shivaji Maharaj Vanashree Purskar in 2016 at State level.

Gardens Club’s workshops & awareness programs are reflected through quality improvement of gardens, plantations & nursery product improvement. Numbers of kitchen gardens, terrace gardens are increased with themes & organic waste management.
