In a career spanning 24 years, Dr. Priyadarshini Karve (Ph.D. Physics, University of Pune, 1998) has invented a number of environment friendly Biomass energy technologies. Since 2010, her work has focused on Urban Sustainability. Her contributions have been recognised nationally and internationally and she is involved in a number of national and international research, development and advocacy efforts focused on Sustainability and Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation. She also teaches courses related to the same topics at various educational institutes.
