A civil engineer by profession he is a member of ‘Tadoba Andhari Vyaghra Prakalpa’ (TATR), ‘Maharashtra State Wild Life Board, President of ‘Water is Life’ Society. He is a core environmentalist by heart. For last six years ‘Water is Life’ Society providing water through tankers to core and buffer zones of TATR. A handy solar pump was invented by Dr. Vivek Bhore because of his inspiration. Till now 5 pumps in buffer zone and 47 pumps in core zone of TATR have been installed, and will be maintained by society for next five years. This activity may be a trend setter and likely to be carried out in all other sanctuaries of rest of the India.
