Founded on 20th July 2009, this institution of Sangli leads the way for nature and environmental conservation and various other society-oriented positive projects. It also publishes a quarterly newsletter dedicated to this subject. In 2011, Abhalmaya arranged the Green Ganesh competition, to which many Ganesh Mandals responded heartily. A workshop was also conducted on the Green Building concept. To spread the thought of nature and environmental conservation amongst people, Abhalmaya on 8th January 2012, arranged a meet of writers who penned on this subject. Many conservationists attended it. In a novel way, registration for this meet was in the form of ‘plant-a-sapling’ drive. The foundation distributed booklets outlining the green concept to students, and an essay-writing & elocution competition was arranged.
