Swapnil is an electrical engineer who is passionate about wildlife conservation and is currently pursuing his PhD on human and leopard co-existence in Jhalana, Rajasthan. With 3 international research publications to his credit, he has covered a lot of ground by travelling to 90 different countries. He has worked on carnivore conservation in Namibia, polar bear conservation in Canada and primate conservation in Peru, apart from co-organising with ARRCN, WOC and WILD conferences.

He is also the only Indian Game Ranger at the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
