Mangesh Desai is someone who is always on the lookout for a unique frame in the wild. After completing his B.E and MBA, Mangesh followed the footsteps of passion which led him to wildlife photography, a decade after he picked up his first lens. He has always been fascinated by clicking portraits of animals, starting at Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Tadoba. Over time he moved away from the Tiger jungles of central India towards exotic species deep in the Himalayas. Mangesh Desai is one of the few Indian Photographers to have clicked extremely elusive pictures of the Snow Leopard, Tibetan Wolf and Red Panda.
The African subcontinent is no stranger to him right from the plains of Mara, the Gorillas in the mountains to the Wildebeest in Serengeti. Desai is an acclaimed winner of the Sony BBC Earth Nature category, while also extensively featuring in wildlife publications that includes magazines and exhibitions.
