A student of agriculture and Environment Science, Mr. Suhas Ajgaonkar is an ardent believer in selfless contribution, using newer technologies and local resources. He has motivated 3,500 farmers of the Western Ghat in integrated rice farming. He has succeeded in convincing 1,200 farmers ‘The need of time’ for planting trees. He has supported 500 SC/ST communities of Ajanta hill ranges under NRM programme. His contribution to the village community is helping see a decline in urban migration.
