Mr. Sattar is from Junedia Education Society, Kudchi, Belgaon (511311). He is a Science Graduate from A.F.I.C. Philippines. He has also been trained in Southern Forest Region University in Coimbatore. He strived to make people of various towns in Sangli district aware of environmental issues by tree exhibition and plantation drives. His contribution,along with that of the ‘Friend of Trees’ by late Mr. D. M. Mohite, was of great value in the creation of Sagareshwar reserved forest. Currently he is busy in spreading eco-awareness in various schools of Maharashtra, Karnatak, Goa and Gujarat, including Junedia Education Society at Kudchi.
