An engineer and civil contractor by profession, he is a working member of Creative Nature Friends. It is a NGO working for conservation of Western Ghats. He is a member of Tree Committee, Karad. He made first demand for Sahyadri tiger reserve and upgradation of Chandoli wildlife sanctuary with central and state government, which helped in getting more funds to the national park for wildlife conservation. He brought to the notice of Bombay Highcourt by filing a public interest litigation about encroachments in Sahyadri Tiger Reserve.
