In 2016, some doctors from Solapur came together and started an innovative concept of “Zadanchi Bhishi’. Dr. Yashwant Pethkar is one of the founder members. Along with the tree plantation they take care of plants and celebrate the first birthday of every tree. He also promotes roof top water harvesting. The positive effects of his initiatives on the environment of the city can be seen.
