Gynaecologist by profession, he bought 19 acres of waste land in Western Ghats and began planting indigenous tress in it. The underground water has depleted drastically, hence he dug hundreds of pits across the slopes to harvest rain water and planted tress of ecological importance. Now, the entire land has become a lush green forest. The underground water level has increased. Hundreds of birds, butterflies and reptiles are flourishing here. He grows chemical,pesticide free indigenous vegetables, fruits and runs an eco-friendly school.
